one step closer

as of saturday afternoon we are the proud owners of a completed homestudy.... and for the adoption world this is huge... months and months of paperwork,tears, doctors visits, financial records ( gone over and over again), tears,paperwork, birth certificates, questions, interviews, measurements taken, paperwork, tears, fingerprints, refrences, interviews, financial questions,back to the doctor, more tears.... but then it came to an end. and i sat before our social worker on friday afternoon with tears streaming down my face.... she put her hand on my hand and said....you can do this. this is what we worked so hard for. and i said ...i know....my babies are coming home. these are tears of relief. relief that i will soon know my babies name. their face. their heartbeat. these are joy filled tears this friday evening.
